Strassburg Baptist Church is a small, country church located North of the Marion County Reservoir and affiliated with the North American Baptist Conference. Started in 1911, Strassburg’s congregation may have changed faces throughout the years, but their beliefs have not.
Our Beliefs
We believe the Bible is God’s Word, given by divine inspiration, trustworthy, without error, and the supreme authority for all doctrine and conduct.
We believe in the one living and true God. He is perfect in wisdom, sovereignty, holiness, justice, mercy, and love. He exists eternally in three equal persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
We believe God created man in His own image, being made to have fellowship with Himself and to be steward over His creation.
We believe that in order to receive eternal life in Heaven with our Lord, a person must:
- Acknowledge and confess their sin and need of Jesus as their Savior.
- Believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior and that He died on the cross to save them from their sins.
